Our Car Service

If you are unsure about what type of service your car requires then be sure to check your manufacturer service book as this will have all of the relevant details in it. There is a lot of overlap between servicing and an MOT test and it is estimated that 75-85% of your MOT is covered during servicing, however that does not mean you should skip on servicing, as they are vital in keeping your car safe and roadworthy and protecting yourself and other road users (think of it like a Doctor’s appointment, something that just needs to be done!).

Servicing is actually completely different to an MOT. An MOT is an annual roadworthiness inspection for safety – it’s not designed to replace or repair worn vehicle components. A full service ensures wear and tear are taken care of, while an MOT won’t.

This is a difficult one to answer as many factors come into play. The age, make and model play a part, but also how many miles you drive is a large factor too. A good rule of thumb is to have an annual service, although you may not need the same level of service each year. If you are unsure, then please contact us.

A Major Service is from £165 + vat, with an Interim Service from £75 + vat.

Having a full and thorough service history will allow you to ask for a better price when it comes to selling your car. So don’t wait until you want to sell, start as soon as you get your car so you can provide the history required for that higher price.

We offer a discount on the labour for NHS staff and Blue Light Card holders. We also have a Loyalty scheme – please ask for more details.
